:: The Roots of Human Communicability in the Face of the Expansion of Artificial Communication
In a review of Professor Kim H. Veltman's work: "Alphabets of Life", we seek to broaden his perspective to include communication between humans and humanoid robots. The text contrasts the process of human enculturation in the internet age with the current transculturation of human beings, with technological devices that incorporate artificial intelligence. From a theoretical perspective, it seeks to establish a parallel between "Alphabets of Life" that have evolved over the centuries and those artificially generated by members of various generations from the last century to the present day.
:: Is Local Culture still a Driver of International Tourism?
One of the common denominators in reports on Generation Z's relationship with cultural heritage is a lack of focus on historical information related to buildings, monuments, paintings, etc., of historical significance. This problem implicitly raises the rhetorical question of the presentation, considering the European population pyramid. Currently, those born in the 20th century continue to be the driving force behind cultural travel, as they maintain an interest in visiting the places, works of art, and so on, that they have studied since childhood. Studies related to "smart tourism" only address statistical issues such as the best times to avoid crowds, for example, when accessing archaeological sites, art galleries, etc., or the best days of the week to reduce the costs of renting individual transportation or for social entertainment, for example. However, "smart apps" are not motivating Generation Z to make their travels more than just a statistical data among the total number of tourists arriving in a city. Therefore, we present some key strategies to reverse this situation for future "cultural tourists."
