TOPICS

Today, the hardware technology sector continues to advance by leaps and bounds due to the conflictive and global context in which all of humanity finds itself, whether due to natural or artificial factors. In this evolutionary process, human beings are experiencing, for the first time in the modern age, a loss of their cognitive and volitional capacities, starting from an early age.

This is fundamentally due to the rise of a negative triad or matrix for humanity, comprised of three components: the Omega generation (destructive and without age limits), the “Garduña / Gardunia factor” (internationally widespread), and a drugged education (through the use of new information and communication technologies).

Nowadays, it is readily apparent how, in classrooms across millions of educational centers worldwide, access to smartphones –among other cutting-edge educational and interactive technologies (e.g., augmented reality, virtual reality, etc.)– and social media is being banned. In other words, it is the end of McLuhan's paradigm and his global village. Within this triad are the mentors and implementers of these educational and informational deviations.

Currently, they have found in artificial intelligence a new field to continue the destructive process affecting new generations of users in the realm of ICTs. Previously, they focused on the manipulation of information through e-books, usability engineering, user-centered design, human-computer interaction, user experience, podcasting and other related fields that centered on the end user, especially from a young age. Children, people with disabilities (physical and/or intellectual) and students are the population groups toward which they primarily direct their experimentation.

Now, members of Omega generation have found in the word “ethics” a new way to continue the process of alienating new generations through the use of artificial intelligence reinforced by topics related to recommender systems, information retrieval, educational technologies, and so forth. We can see a kaleidoscope of terms that only serve to deceive and lure users toward social alienation and the diminishment of their intellectual and individual capacities. These negative actions were previously exposed by genuine professionals in social communication.

These professionals, from their vantage points, ensured that the evolution of society and the use of new technologies were harmonious and aimed primarily at the local and global common good. These scientists are being indiscriminately attacked by this nefarious triad, resorting to illegal algorithms. In short, members of Omega generation intend to impose on the base of the population pyramid an artificial intelligence manipulated by narco-education, with the support of “narcotized legality.”

This is the main reason why this convergence point has been created: so that all participants (students, teachers, researchers, software and hardware developers, entrepreneurs, industry professionals, and so on) can rectify these deviations. In other words, the aim is to analyze, prevent, and correct deviations that, through the imposition of illegal algorithms, are eroding peaceful and democratic coexistence among current and future users of new technologies.

Our intention is not to change the world starting with this event, but at least to improve it and prevent the same mistakes of the past from being repeated, as has happened last / actual century with the democratization of the internet, the expansion of notions of usability engineering (UE); human-computer interaction (HCI); user experience (UX); interaction design and children (IDC); recommender systems (RS); information retrieval (IR); gender studies; science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM), educational technologies and ecosystems, and a long etcetera.

At this time, the rampant use of social media is leading communities to protect children and adolescents by limiting or prohibiting their access through the use of smartphones or computers, both inside and outside of schools. This is a direct consequence of the terrible example set by those professionals who should be demonstrating good behavior in educational institutions, for example, the teachers, researchers and practitioners.

Any internet user can witness the narcissism displayed in digital images online, reaching high levels of psychopathy and Machiavellianism, which in many cases are exhibited by individuals who, at some point in their lives, attended a private or religious educational institution. This is a new “negative triple component matrix” that is being routinely incorporated into artificial intelligence. Advances in software and hardware related to artificial intelligence will also be examined in detail within this context of convergence of formal, natural, and empirical sciences, to gain a keen understanding of the reality in which human beings and their communities are immersed.

That is to say, special emphasis will be placed on education, the labor market, commerce, industry, and all other goods and services that are directly and indirectly related to artificial intelligence and all its implications. Hence, the interest not only in the models and the latest technologies but also in obtaining a 360-degree view of the short, medium and long term future, including human and social factors.

The following list contains the main primary and secondary topics, which focus on the democratization of artificial intelligence in a proper manner and for the benefit of all. This list does not mean that other topics will not be addressed in this convergence space. On the contrary, these new topics are welcome. Lastly, the extensive list reflects the intersection of the different areas of the disciplines with their corresponding domains, fields, and specializations, as they currently exist or may combine in the future:
